Hey! What's your name?

Wondering what to name your baby? Trying to think of something unique?

As Birth and Newborn Doulas, we come across many baby names, and are often asked about unusual baby names that aren't the ones we see in day to day life. Selecting a name for your baby is the first step in helping them to define themselves. People seem to be turning away from the "mainstream" names, and want to avoid naming their child something that will inevitably have 4 other kids in their class with the same name. We've put together a list of unusual names and names that are not on the "Top 10" list for baby names.  Some of these names are older and some are new. At any rate, we do not hear them very often and wanted to share with you! Let us know if you have any others to add to the list!

In no particular order, here is our list of unusual or uncommon baby names!
